This May, Capitol Pressroom Airs Six Days A Week

Beginning Friday, April 28, Capitol Pressroom will be available six days a week on WSQX Radio. From the State Capitol in Albany, award-winning public radio host Susan Arbetter guides listeners through the maze of New York state politics and public affairs, cutting through the jargon to make sense of even the most complex issues. 

CPR will air weekdays at 8:00 pm and on Sundays at noon.  It replaces Indivisible, which ends its planned run on April 27.  Taking the 3:00 pm time slot, Monday through Thursday on WSQX, will be the BBC Newshour.  Both hours of All Things Considered will continue weeknights 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Science Friday still airs at its traditional time on WSQX.

Beale Street Caravan will also be at a new time.  For more than 20 years, BSC has been capturing and exporting the sounds of Memphis and the Delta region. On April 29, it moves from Friday evenings to Saturdays at 5:00 pm.

An addition to the weekend jazz programming on WSQX will be Retro Cocktail Hour. Both hours of the programwhich serves up space age bachelor pad music, tiki tunes, private eye jazz and more every week, will air Saturdays 6:00-8:00 pm.
