The high school spring sports season is coming to an end. For baseball players, it’s the first year they’ve had a limit on how much they can throw.

SYRACUSE (WRVO) - Syracuse University men's basketball coach Jim Boeheim said he never had any intention of staying with the program beyond next year. 

Governor Tom Wolf is urging Pennsylvanians to stay off the roads today, as a major storm dumps snow across the midstate. With nearly a foot and a half of snow expected, Wolf is urging people to postpone unnecessary trips. He says it's a pretty good day to stay indoors.

ROCHESTER (WXXI) - The state's largest governing body for high school sports is issuing new rules this upcoming baseball season. The New York State Public High School Athletic Association has for the first time, issued new rules regarding pitch count limits for varsity athletes.

BINGHAMTON (WSKG) - Professional hockey in Binghamton will have a new look next year.

“The New Jersey Devils will be bringing their American Hockey League development team to Binghamton and the Floyd L. Veterans Maines Veterans Memorial Arena will be their home," said part-owner Tom Mitchell.

(WXXI) Each year the FIRST Lego League competition has a different theme. This year was all about “Animal Allies”, and encouraged participants to explore interactions between humans and animals, and how they can work together in a more cohesive away. A regional championship was held Sunday at the University of Rochester.

The Ottawa Senators are moving their American Hockey League affiliate from Binghamton to Belleville, Ontario. WSKG's Gabe Altieri caught up with Roger Neel of Town Square Media to discuss the move.
